Icecare

Gelado Colorido – Fabricação de Gelados e Sorvetes, Lda. is a Portuguese food innovation company dedicated to the development of ice creams and sorbets with enhanced nutritional value, aligned with the promotion of health, wellbeing, and responsible consumption.

Since the start of its production activity in 2017, the company has embedded innovation, research and development (R&D), quality assurance, and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles as core pillars of its business model. From the outset, Gelado Colorido invested significantly in applied research and experimental development prior to industrial scale-up.

This work focused on creating formulations capable of reconciling:

  • Respect for traditional ice cream flavours,
  • technological and nutritional innovation, and
  • the preservation of organoleptic qualities, including taste, texture, and sensory acceptance.
By combining tradition and innovation in a deliberately ambidextrous approach, IceCare has developed differentiated products supported by scientific validation. Through applied research, the company has introduced new formulations that enable:

  • The incorporation of bioactive compounds with potential health benefits,
  • a reduction in total and trans fats, and
  • lower caloric content, without compromising sensory experience.
IceCare illustrates how food innovation can contribute meaningfully to healthier lifestyles while maintaining pleasure, quality, and cultural authenticity.

Restore

Restore Enterprises Corporation is a B2B API that helps platforms increase productivity and measure burnout risk through energy-intelligent scheduling.

The 9–5 workday has no basis in biology, it’s actually a vestige of the industrial era that assumes humans can cognitively perform at a steady level for eight straight hours. In reality, research commonly cited in workplace studies shows the average employee is productive for only ~2 hours and 53 minutes in an eight-hour day. And the cost of chronic stress and misaligned work systems is massive, job stress alone is estimated to cost U.S. companies over $300B per year in health costs, absenteeism, and performance loss. Burnout also carries real financial impact at the company level, with research suggesting a 1,000-employee organization can lose ~$5M annually.

Restore offers a new approach: instead of forcing people to power through, we help existing productivity, scheduling HR and health and wellness apps align work with natural energy rhythms, supporting deep focus during peak hours, reducing cognitive overload during low windows, and protecting recovery before performance drops.

Receive and monitor all the data about your posture and sitting behaviour on your phone.

The Digital Neurotherapeutics Centre

The Digital Neurotherapeutics Centre at the Champalimaud Foundation is a pioneering hub where cutting-edge technology meets clinical care, redefining treatment for brain and mental health disorders. Bringing psychiatry and neurology together, the centre delivers personalised, non-pharmacological therapies alongside conventional medication, psychotherapy, and rehabilitation.

Among these therapies is repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), a safe, non-invasive brain stimulation technique used to treat conditions such as depression (including bipolar depression), obsessive-compulsive disorder, and chronic pain. rTMS also helps to quit smoking, offering new hope where traditional treatments fall short.

The centre stands out for its immersive behavioural rooms, high-intensity rehabilitation platforms, and innovative telerehabilitation programmes, all delivered by a highly specialised multidisciplinary team. As part of the Centre for Restorative Neurotechnology, it actively drives innovation through clinical trials and industry partnerships, ensuring patients benefit from today’s most advanced therapies while helping shape the breakthroughs of tomorrow.

The Digital Neurotherapeutics Centre is hosting an inaugural event on 15 May 2026. Find out more by following us on your preferred social media channels (LinkedIn, Bluesky, Instagram, Facebook).

VOITHY

Voithy is a connected medication management and remote care system built for older adults and chronic patients, combining a smart medication organizer with a shared digital care view for families and professional teams.

It keeps daily medication routines consistent by guiding doses, capturing what was taken and what was missed, and triggering follow-up when adherence breaks or a risk pattern appears.

Voithy also reduces handover friction across shifts and providers by giving a clear timeline of actions and responsibilities, so care stays steady at home and in care facilities while clinicians and coordinators gain reliable signals between visits
